On April 21, 2016 at about 00:35 a constable stationed at Mitchells Plain police aged 32 was sitting in an official vehicle in Galaweni Street KTC when two suspects came up to his vehicle and fired three shots through the vehicle window.
The member was wounded thereafter the suspects fled with his cell phone.
He was admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
No one has been arrested as yet.
