How much does the ANC actually know about #FeesMustFall?
Mcebo Dlamini

The so-called “face behind Fees must fall” at Wits University, Mcebo Dlamini, was arrested at his house on Saturday evening facing charges of public violence, theft, malicious damage to property and assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

This is not the first time that Dlamini is in trouble. He was suspended as president of the Wits University SRC after saying that he was a huge fan of Adolf Hitler and implying that he would appreciate the same fate for white South Africans, as for the Jews under Hitler. For this he apologised, but nothing ever came of it.

Since Saturday evening however, a number of interesting facts came to light, which makes us at Front National South Africa believe that there is a more sinister motive behind Dlamini’s presence on the campus of Wits University.

  1. At his bail hearing on Tuesday, he claimed that he had to be released to write a test on Tuesday and was extremely adamant that this was sufficient reason for bail to be granted. It has been determined in the meantime that this was a blatant lie to court. There was no test scheduled.
  2. Dlamini is in fact not even South African by birth. He is a Swazi.
  3. Dlamini is a member of the ANC Youth League. He has 2 degrees and is currently studying a post-grad LLB. He registered with the University of Pretoria, but never attended any lectures there. Why not? Why was it more important to transfer to Wits University and almost instantly become SRC President? Is it because Wits offered a more volatile environment for incitement of trouble?
  4. In 2014 Dlamini claimed to be a member of the influential Sisulu-clan, which, historically, plays an important role in the ANC. Why was it so important to portray Dlamini as member of “ANC nobility”?
  5. The ANC’s Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, yesterday admitted that Dlamini’s studies were paid for by his department. In other words, the tax payer pays for the tuition of a foreign trouble maker, publically calling for the genocide of white people and causing the same upheaval which the ANC minister for Higher Education is so outraged about!
The ANC is, by own admission, violently opposed to racism in any form. Yet they support a man who seems to float from university to university, being already 32 years of age, and causing the destruction and burning down of university campuses and facilities. Furthermore, as claimed by FF+ Gauteng Youth Leader Jean Kriek, Dlamini’s actions at Wits already caused damage to the amount of R1,4 million. Dlamini is an ANC member – why does the ANC not take action against him according to internal party policy and processes?

And no action has been taken from the office of the Gauteng MEC, Lesufi, nor the office of the ANC Youth League either. Which leaves the question: How much does the ANC, and in particular the ANCYL, ACTUALLY know about the #Fees must Fall protests? We have, long ago already, reached the conclusion that #Fees must Fall has nothing to do with Tuition fees, but is nothing more than a political revolution brewing. The presence of the red shirts of the EFF seems to testify to this conviction.

When Blade Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education, says: “There is third party involved” – one wonders if he doesn’t know all too well who that third party is, knowing also that the third party is much closer to him than he would like to admit. The affiliations and profile of Dlamini hints at a very sinister involvement of both the ANC and the EFF – which, as FN has been predicting, will probably become the partnership from hell which we will have to face in 2017 and onwards towards the 2019 general elections.
