The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Kaapmuiden has arrested a male suspect for possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle following a law enforcement operation conducted on Friday, 20 February 2026.
The operation took place on the N4 Road near the Nkomazi Toll Plaza. During the stop, authorities flagged the vehicle, and a circulation check confirmed that it had been reported stolen in Potchefstroom in February 2026.
The suspect remains in police custody and is expected to appear before the Barberton Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 23 February 2026.
