At approximately 15:00 today, members of the Parkroad Crime Prevention unit successfully apprehended a 32-year-old male from Koffiefontein in Bloemfontein.
The arrest followed after members received information about a male suspect en route to Bloemfontein to procure drugs for distribution in Koffiefontein.
Upon searching a taxi at Majakathata, police discovered 500 Mandrax tablets in the suspect’s possession. The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is R20 000. He was arrested for dealing in drugs and is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein magistrate court soon.
