A Cash-in-Transit heist has forced the N6 road between East London and Komani near Maclean Town to be closed as the spot is an active crime scene.

It is alleged that the robbers have used explosives to bomb the cash van and access the money.

Law enforcement is on the scene along with other rapid response teams to attend to the scene.
