A farm attack near Potchefstroom, North West province was averted by the quick response of owner.
On January 18, around 10H30, farmer Dirk Grobler noticed up to six suspects lurking around the house and immediately raised the alarm.
As soon as the suspects heard the alarm, they fled in two groups.
The farming community and police responded swiftly and cordoned off the area but the search was stopped due to darkness.
The police are investigating and the suspects are still at large.
