Baking project to help farm attack victim

In 2015, Braam Blignaut was attacked on his farm in Mooinooi, North West province, and was shot three times by the attackers. Today Braam is a paraplegic because of this horrific attack. The criminals stole R250, two cell phones and a camera, a paltry sum of goods but ruined a family forever.

Below is an invitation by Braam’s mother to help with a project to raise funds for Braam and his family.

Baking for Braam and his family on 1 April 2017. Hi to all baker friends in Rustenburg, I’m launching a Bake For Braam project all over South Africa if I can, Braam is my son and he was shot 3 times in a farm attack on 10 July 2015, my son is paralysed from below his chest down, he is the father of 4 boys!

They are struggling as a family to cope as Braam can’t work anymore to provide for his family! I want to plead to all bakers in Rustenburg and in the whole of South Africa to open there harts and join me in a bake-a-thon to raise funds for them!

The herald news paper in Rustenburg will help us with this via a story in the news paper, I just want to post this to get bakers to join, the date and place as well as posters will be made and be posted everywhere!

Please, if you are willing to bake something and contribute the funds to this family, phone/WhatsApp me on 0764671411 or inbox me! Thanks for your time!

EVERYONE CAN LEAVE THE GROUP AFTER THE BAKE-OFF BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO STAY AS I WILL LAUNCH MORE PROJECTS IN FUTURE TO HELP MY SON!

I will confirm next week where the event will take place!
