Cyril Ramaphosa tweeted requesting that they return and rather enter into dialogue here in South Africa and not mobilise the international community. Ernst responded saying “Sorry, Mr. President. If you said you were going to respond to and prioritize the murders on us and our families, if you said you would recognize and respect the property we purchased with sweat and labor, we might have felt different. Meanwhile we will stay here for a while.”
