Jack Markovitz, the EFF youth leader at UCT, called the DA a white supremacist party. He then went on to slam whites in Brackenfell and blames apartheid for all the problems in South Africa. He openly stated that the white wealth should be redistributed to ‘the people’. The question however is, will he and his wealthy family be handing over their extensive property portfolio to the ‘disadvantaged’?
He made these comments during the ‘protest’ at Brackenfell High School on 20 November 2020, Markovitz was interviewed and he had a lot to say about the whites in South Africa and blamed them for the current failure of the ANC government.
This bravado and EFF support suddenly came to an abrupt end for Markovitz when the stun grenades went off. He was the first to hide away behind the police and take off his EFF jacket and then parade around in a white t-shirt pretending to not be that involved anymore.
While he and other liberals continue to blame whites for all the woes in the country, it’s astonishing that they don’t acknowledge the wholescale corruption, theft, mismanagement, incompetence and the resultant destruction of what was once a vibrant and strong economy by the black ANC government.
