Seven days after the arrest of a suspected drug dealer, he was handed down a lengthy sentence on a charge of dealing in drugs.
On 2016-10-11 Zukile Lucky Khuselo aged 31 was arrested in Citrusdal after he fled from local police members after his vehicle was stopped for a routine check in which 22 kg of dagga was found.
After his arrest he made a confession and during his second court appearance this morning in Vredendal he was sentenced to R 20 000-00 or 24 months imprisonment and a further 48 months imprisonment suspended for 5 years.
SAPS are pleased with the outcome of the court case and we deem the swift sentencing as a deterrent to other drug dealers.
