A 16 year old boy was hospitalised on the morning of 20 August 2019, after he was stabbed at a school in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene after 11:00 to find local security members on the scene.
After the security members retrieved the patient, medics found that the boy had sustained a stab wound to his back and face. The boy was treated and thereafter transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
