A 38-year-old man was arrested with drugs worth an estimated R1.3 million by the Hawks’ South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) based in Bellville together with Crime Intelligence Counter Narcotics and Gangs as well as Public Order Policing (POPS) on 10 September 2022 near Somerset West.
A search of the vehicle ensued and the members found 33 000 mandrax tablets.
