On Tuesday, January 3, during the early hours of the morning, a holidaymaker was woken up by the sound of noises at their house situated in Plettenberg Bay.
The husband went to check and found a suspect inside the house. An altercation followed and the wife woke up from the sounds of a fight taking place. Attempting to protect the family a shot was fired wounding the suspect who fled the scene.
The suspect was apprehended by Smart Alarms a block away.
The South African Police responded to the incident and continue with the investigation.
