A violent farm attack took place on 1 August 2019, in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. An elderly farmer, Johan Du Bois (88), was attacked on his farm ‘Du Bois Boerdery’ by four attackers. He was brutally assaulted and beaten with a crowbar. His alsatian put up a brave fight attempting to defend him, but was also severely beaten and then locked away. Attackers fled on foot after ransacking the house.
There is no other information available at this stage. Nor are thera details on the injuries that were sustained.
