Drugs and Alcohol confiscated in Blue Down Cluster
Five suspects arrested after gruesome farm attack

Through disruptive operations that have been executed during this week in the Blue Down Cluster, a total of 35 houses have been searched for drugs and 155 arrests executed relating to drugs.

A total of 3810 litres of alcohol, mandrax tablets with an approximate street value of R10 165-00, tik with an estimated street value of R3 710-00 and dagga to the estimated street value of R173 832-00 were confiscated.

Thirty-four tracing operations were held and 39 wanted suspects were arrested as a result.

Blue Downs Cluster Commander, Major General Vincent Beaton commended the SA Police Service members, Metro Police, Law Enforcement officers, Traffic Police, neighbourhood watch and reservists for their dedication and commitment in ensuring the perpetrators of crime are brought to justice. He further encouraged the community to keep on assisting the police in ridding their neighborhoods of criminal elements.
