There have been 170 farm attacks and 25 farm murders in South Africa for the period 1 January to end June 2020. A further 15 farm attacks were successfully averted. This visual presentation gives details of the attacks including the nature of the attack and cause of death, type of injuries sustained, age of the victims, day of the week, time, province, number of attackers involved and items stolen during the attacks.
How the president can deny the existence of farm attacks is a clear sign of the governments complicity in these atrocities. In less than 72 hours, between 3 and 5 July there have been another 4 farm murders so disgustingly violent in nature that it is incomprehensible that the government, the mainstream media and international condemnation is not forthcoming.
