On Monday June 15, 2015 Swannie Swanepoel in his 50’s was killed during a robbery by an unknown number of robbers. His throat was cut during the attack.
Swannie was alone at the time of the attack on his parent’s smallholding at Risiville, Vereeniging, South Africa. His parents are apparently on holiday in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The intruders got in through the roof by removing the tiles.
Swannie was attacked in his bed and it looked like there was a struggle. In the process they cut his throat.
The vereeniging Police are investigating the case.
