In response to questions from the EFF, ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that the country’s social “illness” would not be solved without addressing the land issue.
He also commits himself to ensuring that the constitution will be changed, which will allow land to be taken from owners without compensation.
“His people will eventually come out on top” he said. This follows Malema’s threat that their followers will be involved in a revolution to fight what belongs to them, namely land.
This despite Ramaphosa’s repeated assurance to investors that property rights in South Africa are not at risk.
