Front National South Africa hereby wishes to express our sincere gratitude to two political leaders who proved that leadership out of conviction and based in the principles of justice and honesty, will stand before history.

In their responses to the State of the Nation announcement by president Ramaphosa that his government intends to expropriate land without compensation, first prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi of the IFP and then mr Mosiua Lekota of Cope responded strongly in opposition.

Prince Buthelezi defended the rights of the Zulu people to their traditional land, customs and culture in a most admirable way, thereby echoing exactly what Front National says: All ethnic, demographic and cultural groups in our country have a right to be here, to be who they are, to own what is rightfully theirs and to exist as neighbours. We commend mr Buthelezi for raising the fundamental issue of the right to existence and the right to ownership of your property.

At the same time we wish to express our sympathy with prince Buthelezi and his people for the broken promises and agreements, particularly by Mandela, Mbeki and Zuma, regarding the land and the status of the traditional leaders of the Zulu nation.

We also wish to extend our gratitude to mr Mosiua Lekota who openly and defiantly raised the very same questions asked by Front National last Thursday, and which the President carefully avoided in his Sona. He clearly asked why the President would pledge allegiance to the constitution which guarantees the right of ownership, and then states that he wants to act directly against the same constitution. More importantly, mr Lekota clearly asked: Whose property the president intends to take and who, according to the president, is “our people” and who in this country is NOT “our people.” Mr Lekota emphasized that all people in this country have a right to be here and that the constitution clearly states that ALL South Africans will have the same rights.

These two are men of integrity, principle and justice. And we recognise that with gratitude.

The leaders of all nations in this country can now clearly recognise that the ANC can never be trusted with the future of any South African nation. The communist agenda of the ANC leaves no space for recognition of any nation’s right to own land in this country. Only the implementation of the internally recognised right to self determination, as proposed by FN, offers the potential for future peaceful co-existence and prosperity of all people in South Africa.
