Police alertness led to the arrest of three suspects aged between 30 and 36 in Riemvasmaak, Griekwastad. The suspects were busted on 9 October 2019, subsequent to a tip-off regarding drug activities at a shack in Riemvasmaak.
Members reacted swiftly to the shack and upon arrival more than R30 000-00 worth drugs were found and seized.
The Northern Cape Police Management applauded the community members for their commitment in policing partnership, by exposing criminal activities in their neighbourhood. The suspects are expected to appear before the Griekwastad Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 11 October 2019 on a charge of dealing in drugs.
