A post mortem conducted on 6 November 2019, as part of Warrenton murder investigation reveals that the victim was sexually assaulted. The post mortem results is the sequel of the attack on an 86 year old elderly woman in Warrenton on Saturday, 3 November 2019. It was first reported by the SAPS that the woman was 96 years old.
A knife wielding man attacked the elderly woman at her residence where her television set, live chickens and meat from the freezer were robbed. The victim was sexually assaulted and also fatally stabbed.
An intensive search by the Provincial Crime Intelligence, Tracking Team and Detectives has been launched to track down the suspect.
