At least eight guesthouses were burned down in Rustenburg.
Community members targeted six drug houses and brothels and set them on fire.
According to the foreign owners of the houses, the fire brigade did not do much more than preventing the spread of the fire to adjacent houses.
Meanwhile, the foreigners turned to the police for help for shelter last night.
