It is reported that funds earmarked for the maintenance of national roads will now be used to fund the bankrupt E Toll system.
Treasury has allegedly approved that monies that would be used to improve 19 000 km of non toll roads could be channeled to the failed E-Toll system to pay current costs.
As a result, fewer new roads will be built which will increase the burden on existing roads, which means bigger and deeper potholes.
