A farm manager was severely attacked by three suspects on Sunday March 12 around 19H30 on a farm near White River in Mpumalanga. There are indications that the suspects spent some time watching the family before attacking.

The farm manager was woken up by a noise and upon investigation, was instantly overpowered by the three suspects who hit him in in face with a brick. His head is cut, nose broken and two fingers badly damaged. The other family members, wife, and children were not hurt during the incident.

The suspects fled with a cellphone and a packet of cigarettes.

The police, community security, and neighboring farmers responded to the incident and currently searching for the suspects.

The investigation continues.
