Afriforum, personal, members of TAU-SA, and community members attended the wreath-laying service. Ian Cameron, head of the community safety of Afriforum said that Afriforum could get the SAPD to prioritize the seriousness of farm murders, but could not get the government to recognize the gravity of farm attacks. Cameron said, “people are brutally attacked and murdered and we want to know when the government will prioritize the safety of our farmers and families.”
