Two passers-by alerted emergency services when they found the body of Sue (64) in a field close to the road. Sue was unrecognizable and had a plastic bag tied around her neck. She was in a coma when taken to the Life MidMed hospital in Middelburg and died on February 21.

Her husband Robert Lynn was stabbed several times with a knife and doctors removed a bullet from his neck.

No arrests have been made in connection with this incident and the Middelburg police confirmed they have located the couple’s Nissan Hardbody double cab at a local bar, where it is presumed the suspect left the vehicle.
