Mohlala has been sacked

Front National SA

On the 26th of March this year Front National posted an article titled: DOUBLE STANDARDS A SYMPTOM OF THE FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES.

In this we pointed out that Vicki Momberg was sentenced to an effective 2 years in prison for a racist statement, while a serving officer in the Defense Force, Major MV Mohlala of the Wonderboom military base, got away with only a warning after writing on Facebook that an elderly white man, the reverend Braam van Wyk, should not only have been attacked, but that his eyes should also have been poked out. He also stated that reverend Van Wyk “had apartheid in him” and “that the faces of his attackers should have been the last thing he ever sees.”

We consequently wrote an urgent letter to the Minister of Defense as well as to the SANDF expressing our disgust at the fact that Mohlala gets away with this and demanding his suspension.

A number of other organisations also indicated that they intended to take action and during an interview with a Polish newspaper, Front National used the example of Mohlala to indicate the racist double standards that has become the norm in South Africa.

We are pleased to have been informed this morning that the Minister instructed the process to be reviewed immediately and that the matter of Mohlala must be regarded as very serious. After deliberation and following the appropriate procedures, Major Mohlala was permanently suspended from his position in the Defense Force. He is no longer employed by the SANDF.

Front National sincerely hopes that this will serve as a warning to social media users from all walks of life that racism is NOT only something committed by white people and that it is not acceptable to call for the torture and killing of white people, even though so-called political leaders such as Malema and the ANC sets the example.
