The South African Police in Limpopo condemn in the strongest possible terms any kind of abuse especially perpetrated against minor children by their parents or lawful guardians who are ought to care and protect them.

This condemnation follows an incident that occurred in Bendo Park, a suburb around the City of Polokwane. According to preliminary investigations by the Police, the ordeal took place between the year 2009 and 2018, where the biological father of the three girls aged seven, ten and thirteen years of age raped and performed sexual acts on them.

Upon the discovery of these heinous deeds, the mother of the three girls immediately laid charges of sexual assault and rape against her estranged husband.

The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has expressed with concern, his disappointment and disgust in this matter and has assigned a team of investigators to hunt the perpetrator so that he can face the full might of the law.

The suspect is still on the run but the manhunt is continuing.
