The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has noted with serious concern the statement circulating on social media insinuating that a Police Sergeant who was attached to Polokwane Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit who recently allegedly committed suicide was positively linked with the rape of a 14-year-old girl.
The statement which is said to have been issued by a certain organization, claimed the late Sergeant, who sadly died last Friday, 26 May 2023, had just been informed that the DNA tests results came back positive, which proved that he was indeed the father of the child of the 14-year-old girl.
