Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) despatched two Officers to Missionland in Kwazulu Natal to Investigate a suspicious white Izuzu Bakkie.
While searching the area, Reaction Officers found that the vehicle had crashed through the roof of a carport in Missal Circle.
The driver and a eight-month-pregnant thirty-year-old female sustained minor injuries.
When interviewed, the driver explained that he stopped in the area to urinate when suspects attempted to hijack him.
He attempted to flee and crashed through the carport of a residence.
When interviewed further the driver failed to provide details of the suspects vehicle, weapons used or description of the hijackers.
