Elderly couple victims of a farm attack in Newcastle and amidst the gunshots and chaos he shouted, ‘Please Jesus, help us!’

Grateful to have escaped after being confronted by three men on their farm, Norman and Anne Brown remain traumatized by the horrific event.

Norman Brown sustained severe head and eye injuries, during an attack on his farm yesterday. The three-armed men ambushed the farm and attacked the couple. Desperate to find the safe and take as much as possible, the suspects ransacked the Brown’s house.

The armed attackers did not hold back on firing a few shots and unfortunately, the couple’s dog, a Labrador, was shot while trying to protect her owners. The dog survived the ordeal, as the injury was a flesh wound.

Mrs. Brown was fortunate enough to walk away with a bruised eye and body pain from the attack.

The suspects were after money and guns and escaped with cell phones, and other smaller electronic items.

Mrs. Brown believes it is by the grace of God that they survived the traumatic attack.
