The body of an unidentified African male has been discovered in a bush on Ipigogo Place opposite the Trenance Park Old Phase entrance in Verulam.
At approximately 09:47am members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the scene after receiving several calls from the public reporting the incident. Upon arrival the victims partially naked body was found lying in the over grown grass. The deceased sustained two stab wounds to his head. A trail of blood was found leading from the victim’s body to an unpaved foot path.
The motive for the murder has not been established at this stage.
