Cape Town – Paternoster residents have reacted with shock after learning of the murder of a local restaurant owner. Forty one-year-old Karl Jaentsch was shot dead in his house just outside the West Coast town on Thursday.
While the murder is still being investigated, it’s being reported that only a cellphone was stolen.
His friend Huibre Strydom says Jaentsch’s murder will impact the whole community.
“This has impacted us greatly in the sense that a very beloved icon was taken away from us in such a way.
No one has been arrested in connection with the murder…
