Front National, in a joined effort with the social media sites “Save the white people-stop the killing” and South Africa Today launched an online petition earlier today with the aim of preparing formal charges against the South African President, Jacob Zuma, for committing crimes against humanity. The crimes include: Hate Speech, Racism, Denial of Basic Human Rights of minorities and Incitement to Genocide.
The petition reads:
We, the undersigned petitioners, hereby wish to formally charge the President of the Republic of South Africa with committing the crimes of Racism, Hate Speech, Transgression of Basic Human Rights and inciting genocide and wish to urge this tribunal to immediately lodge an investigation and proceed with charges.
We base the charge(s) on the following:
1) During the 103rd birthday celebrations of the ruling African National Congress President Zuma made a speech before 1500 guests in the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 9 January during which he made the following racist reference about the population of South Africa who are of European descent: “They fought us wherever they found us.” The use of the term “THEY” is clearly indicated to exclude or alienate a minority of the population of the country purely based on their skin colour.
This clear evidence of hate speech against all sections of the population whose ancestors originated from Europe was taken a step further when President Zuma stated that “All the problems in South Africa started in 1652 with the arrival of Jan van Riebeeck.” The fact that the descendants of all European settlers are not being regarded as welcome in the country was even more bizarrely emphasized on 10 January when the President had his official praise singer conduct a tribal ceremony to “exorcise” the spirit of Van Riebeeck from South Africa in a clear message that white South Africans are no longer welcome.
2) On the 10th of January at a speech in Cape Town President Zuma went even further by announcing that “…land reform on the base of willing seller/willing buyer is not working…” and that”…2015 will be the year of land expropriation…” This is a clear indication of the plans by the president to forcefully take away people’s homes and land and thereby denying them the basic right to a livelihood, which is universally regarded as a basic human right.
3) At the end of the speech made on the 10th of January the President ended off by leading the crowd of his followers in a song “Umzini Wam” which goes: “We are going to shoot them, and they are going to run. We are going to shoot them with the machine gun.” (Them and They refer to South Africans of European descent) This is undeniably an example of inciting the majority of South Africa to commit crimes of retaliation and genocide against the minority.
We respectfully urge you to intervene without delay to save an entire nation from being wiped out by the man who calls himself the democratically elected leader of South Africa.
The petition will be presented to the United Nations in New York and the International Criminal Court in The Hague later this year.
