Israeli team arrives in South Africa to interview farmers and evaluate situation

On 25 September 2019, a team of from Israel comprising of associates from the security, industry, media and farming sectors in Israel and a member of “Break The Silence About South Africa” arrived in South Africa on a fact finding mission and are settling in to their temporary base camp on a farm in Limpopo. They will visit farmers in the area and interview them about many elements affecting their lives including, but not limited to, safety and security, land expropriation without compensation, land for mining, food security, kibbutz farming, farm Attacks and farm Murders.

The team will visit all of the 9 Provinces in South Africa with the duration of this visit expected to last at least six weeks. The emphasis is about spending time with farmers and evaluating each situation, assisting with and providing expert solutions. This is not a film production project however this is something that can be arranged for later date.

Many appointments have already been made in advance, however, if there is a farmer that wants to be included for an interview then they can contact Admin at “Break The Silence About South Africa” directly by way of Facebook Messaging System and Admin will by way of a strict vetting system organize the initial telephone discussion and meetings.

The admin assistance visiting South Africa speaks, reads and writes Afrikaans fluently and will interpret as and when required. So language will not be a problem.
