The SABC chief operating officer, Chris Maroleng, was found guilty of three complaints. He was found guilty of not fulfilling his responsibility to manage the entity correctly.

Meanwhile, the bankrupt SABC’s new directors have been named after the previous board resigned, but observers are not convinced that they will rectify the crippled broadcasting service.
