A protest started on Friday evening and has turned nasty, leaving many injured and damages to property. Bremer Street was turned into a mini war zone as police fired rubber bullets and used water cannons to disperse the protesters. While protesters pelted cars with stones, burned tyres and barricaded roads.

These protests are a direct result of politicians promising people land that is not theirs and should be held accountable for the damages caused. On the other hand, the masses are brainwashed into believing every word that is spewed out of the mouths of politicians and protests are a simple form of trying to destabilize the country.
