#BlackWar. A woman from Pretoria who was driving alone was viciously attacked and her vehicle was hit with batons by a group of black taxi drivers of the National Taxi Alliance who were taking part in a one day so called “strike” on Wednesday 18 November 2020, which morphed into a day of terrorism and wanton destruction of property, violence and assaults on innocent people.

The 47 year old mother was on her way home after dropping her child at school. Whilst waiting at the robot at Eridanus Way and Rigel Lane a group of taxi drivers surrounded her car. They were blocking the intersection at the time.

The taxis – all of the registration numbers were covered with tape – boxed the woman in so that she could not go anywhere. The taxi drivers then began to beat her car with batons. All the panels of her car were dented in and the windows destroyed. The taxi goons pulled the woman from the car and hit and pulled her around. She said it was blatant, mindless violence.

The attack lasted minutes before the goons left. The woman then fled the scene. The woman sustained several abrasions from the assault.
The woman said she wants to take the case further but against who is she going to take the case further against?
The woman managed to take a picture of one attacker before she was pulled from the car. The group wanted to take her phone and wallet but she fought back so hard that they did not take it in the end.

Unfortunately we voted for #TheAfricanWay when we signed our rights and future over to the black majority in 1994.
