The city council of Johannesburg has investigated the collapse of RDP houses in Soweto after a hailstorm caused roofs to blow away.
It has been known for years that BEE contractors perform shoddy work, use inaccurate or poor quality materials and merely cut costs at the expense of quality work.
The question asked again is where the supposed building inspectors who approved the houses are? Observers suggest that they should be traced and the place the BEE contractors on a blacklist.
