The Tshwane Metro Council has given notice to the city’s municipal manager, Moeketsi Mosola, that they intend to suspend him.
This follows after being linked to the award of an irregular tender to an engineering company, GladAfrica, to the value of R12 billion.
It is considered far reaching that one individual can award contracts of such astronomical amounts.
Mosola took out the ‘race card’ on social media and said that a small group of white people targeted him.
