On Monday, 15 December 2025, SAPS Rietgat members arrested a suspect wanted for armed robbery during a tracing operation.
Acting on received information, police executed a take-down in Block NN, Phase 2, Soshanguve. The suspect was arrested on charges of armed robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The recovered firearm will undergo ballistic analysis to determine if it was used in other crimes.
