A man was left seriously injured this afternoon following a shooting incident on Saxby Road in Eldoraigne, south of Pretoria.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at a nearby petrol station to find the patient in the custody of local authorities.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen, leaving him in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a provincial hospital, under local authority supervision, for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
