A 21 year old woman was injured on 7 February 2018 after she was shot during an alleged home invasion at a residence in Nooitgedacht, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the local authorities and security forces already in attendance.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the daughter and her mother inside the home.
Paramedics assessed the daughter and found that she had sustained a gunshot wound to her left leg. The mother fortunately escaped injury.
The paramedics treated the daughter for her injuries and thereafter transported her to Laratong Provincial Hospital for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
