A farm attack took place on 22 November 2018 at Koffiespruit in Gauteng province, where eleven attackers of which three were armed with AK47’s and eight with pangas, attacked farm workers. The attack took place during the night between 22:00 and 04:00 the following morning. One farm worker was assaulted for the duration of the attack.
The attackers stole goats, chickens and chicken crates. This is the third incident for the same farm in this week. No arrests have made yet and police are investigating. On a neighbouring farm two cows were slaughtered and a third had its tendons cut.
