On Saturday, June 17, in the early hours of the morning, Bafana (32) was shot when he opened the door to his residence, situated in Rooikraal, Heidelberg.
Three armed suspects entered the house and demanded cash and cell phones from Bafana’s girlfriend. The suspects then demanded that the girl lead them to other people who may have money and on the way came across a group of workers returning home from work.
The suspect fled upon seeing the group of people.
The owner immediately notified the police and emergency services who swiftly responded.
Bafana was transferred to hospital but passed away from injuries sustained during the attack.
The police are conducting an investigation and a search for the suspects.
