A horrific farm murder took place on 5 July 2020, in Grootvlei, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Between three and four attackers shot and killed one female victim (44) and beat her husband to pulp, he is still alive but in a very serious condition.
During this assault on the Wolmarans family, which took place at about 21:30, another 91 year old female victim, the man’s mom, was also hurt during the attack. Seems that nothing was stolen during the assault.
The couple had arrived home from their shop and were confronted at the kitchen door of the farmhouse by the attackers who shot the woman twice in the face.
There have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
