A farm murder took place on Monday evening, 23 November 2020, on a smallholding, in Boschkop, near Pretoria, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Anton Kleyn (61) was shot in the chest through a window by one of three black male attackers. He died on the scene. Aubrey du Plessis (45), who shares the house with Anton, was shot in his right upper leg.
Once again it is clear that these attackers come to kill and torture, not just to rob. A spokesperson for the Police confirmed that only a TV and 2 cell phones were stolen.
In another attack in the area, a farmer of the Boschkop area north of Pretoria shot one attacker dead after his house was attacked by three black men on Saturday evening 21 November 2020. It was the second attack on his farmhouse this year. The farmer fired shots in self defence and called his neighbours for help after his alarm was activated around 21:00.
The body of one attacker was found after help arrived. The farmer and his wife were also attacked in July 2020.
