A farm attack took place on 18 September 20202, at 01:00, in Bultfontein, North of Pretoria, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Four attackers gained entry to the premises by breaking open the main gate and then attacked a farm worker, his wife and young child. The family was asleep when the attackers overpowered them, the attack lasted more than five hours.

The man was assaulted and the family held hostage and traumatized during the attack. The attackers then loaded a number of items onto a bakkie and fled the scene. The man’s wife and child are very traumatized but were fortunately not hurt.

The police are investigating the attack but there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
