A farm attack took place on 2 December 2020, at 01:35, on a smallholding on the Van der Hoff road in Kameeldrift West, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. An unknown number of armed attackers gained entry to the home and assaulted the resident before tying him up. The attackers then ransacked the home.
The attackers then fled the scene with cell phones, laptop, money and clothes. The victim managed to get free after some time and raised the alarm at the neighbours who summoned assistance.
This is the third attack in the immediate area in the last week. SAPS Hercules are investigating these attacks. There is no other information available at this stage. There have been no arrests.
