A farm attack took place on a smallholding in Kameeldrift, Pretoria on Thursday 29 November 2018. Springbok hooker Naka Drotske was visiting his brother Tinus Drotske and having a braai with Os du Randt and Tinus girlfriend, Nadia Duvenhage Jooste. At least three attackers invaded the home as they were locking the doors and a confrontation took place on the veranda. During the struggle Naka Drotske was shot three times.
Drotske has been admitted to hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition. The police are investigating and there have been no arrests as yet.
